{Media Invite} | All New Weekend Breakfast Menu at The Manhattan FISH MARKET

The Manhattan FISH MARKET has earlier this month, launched a brand new weekend breakfast menu offering a great variety of hearty and delectable options at pocket-friendly prices.

The Manhattan Fish Market Weekend Breakfast

We reached the Century Square outlet at 9 am last Saturday and was all ready for a hearty meal before we embark on a day of errands and play in the east – Decathlon at Chai Chee and indoor rock-climbing at Climb Central at Kallang Wave Mall.  Upon arrival, the ambience in the restaurant which greeted us was light and cheery. To have a team of courteous staff and a bright, open concept dining place early in the morning made us hungrier, it seemed.
We chose a table by the side of the glass panel so we could look at the morning crowd walking past us.  The dining area was comfortable and the layout suitable for family dining.  Baby chairs are available for those with toddlers.  The kids were quickly settled down with some colour pencils and complimentary activity sheets (how clever!) while the waitress gave them colour choices for their cutlery.  Little did she know that the 9-year old girl in my family prefers blue, white and black over purple and pink.  Hahhaha!  She was then quickly appeased with cutlery in the same colour as didi.   🙂

The Manhattan Fish Market Weekend Breakfast

With several items in the menu from popular American-styled breakfast selections, we were overwhelmed and could not decide on what to order for a moment.  This includes crowd-pleasing breakfast sharing platters to tuck into, perfect for families and big groups who are looking for a filling meal at great value.

Let’s wait for our food with a cute glass of freshly squeezed orange juice ($3.90) for a start!

The Manhattan Fish Market Weekend Breakfast

Eggs Benedict Sharing Platter ($17.95)

The Eggs Benedict Sharing Platter is a perfect option for 2 pax to share if you are one of those who fancy sampling a little of everything.  Fans of eggs benedict will be impressed with it’s perfectly-poached eggs sitting atop slices of crispy turkey bacon, melted cheddar cheese and muffin drizzled over with hollandaise sauce.  The Manager also made sure to check for our feedback over the eggs benedict we had and it showed that they take pride in perfecting it.  We overheard the other table near us giving lots of praises as we ate.  In short, we were won over!

Aside from the above, mini cheesy hash browns, snail sausage and fluffy pancakes drizzled with maple syrup made sure the platter was a fulfilling one with well-balanced protein and carbo.  The cute hash browns with cheesy insides caught the delight of our kids and they started asking me to get them more.

Smoked Salmon Sharing Platter (S$17.95)

Don’t love turkey bacon and poached eggs?  Go for the Smoked Salmon Sharing Platter, where yummy slices of smoked salmon atop scrambled eggs and an oregano bun await.  The platter is complete with pancakes drizzled with maple syrup, mini cheesy hash browns and snail sausage.

Salmon ‘n Mushroom Sandwich ($8.95)

I was yelling about this on Instagram.  Anyone who prefers a healthy light bite can opt for the Salmon ‘n Mushroom Sandwich.   And we all know that salmon is a good source of protein and also a rich source of DHA and EPA, which helps lower high blood pressure and risks of heart disease.  The amount of smoked salmon slices is just enough not to make the sandwich overly salty.  Get ready to experience a palette full of sensational delight when biting into the soft oregano buns with thick juicy mushrooms, melty cheese and savoury smoked salmon.

At the other end of the plate, a poached egg sits comfortably in a crunchy tortilla bowl, awaiting us to devour it.

Salmon 'n Mushroom Sandwich at @mfmsingapore | This is the one i mentioned is a must try. In between two soft pcs of Oregano bread, sautéed mushrooms sat atop a slice of melted cheese which complemented the savoury smoked salmon very well. On the side, a nicely poached egg benedict sat within a crispy tortilla bowl so that no egg yolk can leak away when cut open. 😈 Oh! Remember to eat your greens!! 🌿 . You know where to head to for a delicious Sunday today? . Newly launched breakfast menu at The Manhattan Fish Market is now available on every weekend and Public Holiday from 8am to 12pm at Century Square Mall, Jurong Point, Causeway Point, Bishan Junction 8 and Northpoint Mall. . #manhattanfishmarket #newmenu #breakfast #fish

Glory Fish Tower ($7.95)

Try conquering this serving of Glory Fish Tower on your own.  Even though it’s apportioned for one, my hubby alone wouldn’t have been able to finish the entire serving given that large piece of signature hand-battered fish fillet, crispy Onion Glory, cheese and lettuce topped with thick toasts is simply too much for one to stomach.  It is also unbelievably under-priced.  As aptly named, it’s a glorious feast to start the weekend with!

I love that the fish coated with crispy batter is served entirely hot and fresh.  Flakes of fish meat is evident that it is not some floured mixture claiming to be “fish”.

The Manhattan Fish Market Weekend Breakfast

Big Brekkie Delight ($9.95)

For those who prefer a full-fledged breakfast, the restaurant’s rendition of Big Brekkie Delight is not to be missed.  This dish satisfies with its delectable Cherry Snapper fillets which you can choose to have fried or grilled, scrambled eggs, mini cheesy hash browns and sautéed mushrooms with tomato in a tortilla bowl.

Nutella & Banana French Toast ($4.95)

The kids’ favorite has got to be the Nutella & Banana French Toast generously drizzled over with chocolate sauce.  Not sure if I can let them eat this everyday though.  But I guess once in a while is perfectly fine.  On days when I need a peaceful meal without having to pester my kids not to play with their food or dream over their story book, I am happy that they enjoyed their toast in this manner.

Berry Happy Pancake ($7.95)

The Berry Happy Pancake is also an appetizing choice for kids with its thick layers of pancakes oozing with Nutella, strawberry, banana, oreo crumbles and served with maple syrup on the side.
